Traffic crash reports
Crash reports are no longer published on this site. Every Ohio law enforcement agency,
including the Clyde Police Department, files its traffic crash reports with the Ohio
Department of Public Safety, and the State lets you look up and download your own report
directly.
What you will need
- The crash number or document number, if the officer gave you one; or
- The date of the crash, then choose Sandusky county and
Clyde Police Department as the agency.
Before you search
- A report can take up to six weeks after the crash to appear in the State system.
- The State keeps the past five years plus the current year.
- Copies from the State are provided for informational use. If you need a certified copy,
a report older than the State's window, or one that includes supplemental material such as
photographs, request it from the Police Department.
